AIDs Orphans in China

One problem that leaves hundreds of thousands of children orphaned in China is the AIDs epidemic.  This disease spreads by parents selling blood in order to get money for their family, especially in rural areas.  The video below shows the trailer for the movie "The Blood of the Yingzhou District," a documentary that follows a year of the life of children in a village in China affected by the virus.

 

An Introduction

Just a brief introduction- I originally started this blog to raise awareness for orphans in China and the problems that they face.  Having been adopted from China myself, I felt the need to show people what exactly they can do to help those who are less fortunate than us.  On this blog, I'll be posting websites of other agencies that have orphan support programs and will be posting information about orphans in China.
